Engineering selection guide

How to match transducer quantity, power and mounting to a cleaning tank

Transducer quantity cannot be determined from tank volume alone. Effective liquid volume, part load, tank construction, medium, temperature, cycle time and power distribution all matter.

01

Prepare six groups of information

Complete information prevents selection by power or tank volume alone. Provide tank dimensions, material and thickness, working liquid level, parts and load, medium and temperature, cycle target and generator specification.

02

Placement and mounting matter as much as unit specifications

Spacing, orientation, bonding surface, base rigidity and welded construction influence energy distribution. The equipment maker should confirm the layout through engineering analysis, experience or testing; Sunnytec can provide product-matching data.

03

Checks before production

At minimum, check transducer and system frequency, impedance or electrical performance, bonding quality, unloaded and loaded temperature rise, cleaning uniformity and continuous operation, then retain the mutually approved specification version.

TECHNICAL FAQ

Common customer questions

Is tank volume alone enough for a quotation?+

It can support a very preliminary discussion but is insufficient to confirm model, quantity or system performance.

Is higher transducer power always better?+

No. Excessive power, uneven distribution or poor matching can affect both process and reliability.
