Engineering selection guide

How to select 1.65, 2.4 and 2.5 MHz ultrasonic atomizing elements

An atomizing element must be selected with the liquid, target output, frequency, drive voltage and power, sealing and thermal conditions.

01

Catalog frequencies and electrical conditions

STW-S44-20×1650 is rated at 1.65 ± 0.05 MHz, 24–48 V and ≤20 W; 20×2400 at 2.40 ± 0.08 MHz; and 20×2500 at 2.50 ± 0.07 MHz. Online data supports preliminary matching.

02

Validate with the drive and structure

Drive waveform, frequency tracking, voltage, liquid level, sealing preload, contact materials and heat dissipation influence operation. Provide drive information or a machine sample for joint validation.

03

Liquid conditions are essential

Water, fragrance liquids and other formulations can differ in viscosity, surface tension and temperature. Results for an untested liquid should not be inferred from water alone.

TECHNICAL FAQ

Common customer questions

Can atomizing elements of different frequencies be interchanged?+

Usually not. The drive, structure, dimensions and liquid conditions require rematching.

Should the driver board be provided for evaluation?+

Providing drive parameters, waveform data or a sample board improves matching efficiency.
